About Me
My name is Lyd Reiss. I was born and raised in Bainbridge, Ohio before moving to Savannah, Georgia to pursue Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
I’ve been drawing ever since I could pick up a pencil. It’s always been an escape for me, something I’ve enjoyed for such a long time.
I try to use what I experience in my life, good or bad, to better the way I create. I find that my best work comes when I feel there is no other way to express how I feel.

Art has always been a way for me to speak when words fail me. I really like to conceptualized and visualize what words do not.

Yes, but also no! I knew art was something I'd want to continue strengthening my skills in, but I actually thought I would go into forensics and criminal psychology. I just don't have enough of a math and science brain for it anymore, so I use what I've learned within my artwork (hence some of the gore-ier pieces)
